A RPG is a Role Playing Game. This is any kind of game, usually played at a table or similar, where usually a group of people take the role of one (usually a) hero through a (series of) adventure(s) to tell a story.
They can be played on and offline in computer games as well, sometimes solo and sometimes with others.
